When your computer crashes

It always is the same story. We assume that the deluge won't hit us, nor the next war, nor the plane, nor the virus.

Well, my machine has been hit by a virus that has all but wiped away each living file in my machine.

Wonder what will happen now. A person is sitting in front of me now and trying to make sense of the laptop. All that he says is that it can be done and it can be repaired and it is fine. But I am a little worried.
