What is a Forest - A question we ask and ourselves don't know much about

What does a forest mean to me.

When did I get fascinated. Did I get fascinated.

What was it, this question that the past few decades have left us more perplexed at.

Forests are a feeling of being together with the most elemental force of nature!

Forests are these spaces where I hear myself clearest!

Forests are these silent sentinels, seeing all, knowing all and doing quite a bit!

Forests are among the last few places on earth that still exudes a sense of discovery. There is always something unknown about a forest!

Forests are these hitting-self-with-punishment as they wonder at our stupidity!

Forests are also a love affair, one that grows slowly, but roots very deep and spreads its sense of wonder far and wide. Forests are my love affair that never seems to go sour!

Forests are these crazy night-outs that not even the staunchest person could resist not feeling scared of!

Forests are these sleepovers at night, by the river, along the trees, with animals for company and stars as roof!

Forests are silly beings who seem to still hell bent on giving, till the very end. Monsieur GIVER!

Forests are these pacemakers which slow down your very existence. Even slow aging!

Forests are where humans behave at their best and yet, often at their worst!

Forests are victims of an unspeakable genocide, which normally would entail severe punishment on the perpetrator!
