Slight mound on the road

While walking on a steep slope 

that seems to have no end, 

one fixes his glare on the mound next to the one that he just manage to climb. 

I was doing it some time back, while walking up and down the Mukurthi National Park.

And the mounds kept coming till at the end, there was no more mound and only deep gorges existed
