Coronavirus in Andaman and Nicobar Islands
With the wave of coronavirus related doom spreading
across the country, the sudden outbreak of positive cases in the Andaman and
Nicobar Islands on 26th March was enough to send alarm bells ringing
and put the spotlight on particularly vulnerable tribal groups who are highly
susceptible to viral outbreaks. While the cases rose to more than 10 within a
few days, the authorities have isolated the suspected cases and ensured that
none of the tribal groups are affected by the virus.
