Needed in Big Doses - Humbleness and empathy to deal with Corona

Arizona, Florida and Brazil------------greater and equal to Mohali, Bangalore and Bhopal---------------

I think not and as I go out infrequently to buy milk or bread or vegetables, I see the street vendor wearing a mask but not the rich Punjabi lad stepping out of his fortuner. He is not wearing a mask nor are shopkeepers who are better off than the street vendor. Infact, a s random gaze points out, points out atleast to me, that 60% of the people are not wearing masks.

And there is still no pattern to who and why are wearing masks or not. The boy in the fortuner may not be wearing it but the next equally rich boy in a BMW is wearing one. Some shop keepers wear, some don't, some motorists wear, some don't, most medical shop staff don't but if there is a need for a pattern in this, it is that only the street vendor wears a mask constantly.

There is a sense of rebellion too and in Punjab, it turns into swagger - Main nahi pehentha, kya kar sakte ho.

People stare back, right into your eyes and say so, what.

What - is what is happening in the USA where wearing mask became a national debate and continues to be one...

Our old-fangled ego just got a new life, thanks to Corona
