C'mon, Let's go home
Not while the breaths blow hard,
not even when the winds holler in the backyard.
The pebbles that I threw long back,
continue to create ripples to this day.
The scratches on my favourite tree,
seems so silly and so foolhardy.
I knew it back and I know it now,
Everything is connected and everyone knows how.
For wherever we go and how far we jump,
in the end, it is all about taking that homeward plunge.
For in the end, we start again.
For, in the end, it is at home that we find our zen!
not even when the winds holler in the backyard.
